I can really imagine what addicts feel like because I am sure I have one to the dreaded carbs... well here goes once my supply arrives I will utilise all the support I have found . Again thank you so much you cant imagine how much hormones food and weight rule my life and what effects it has on me.
A quick question if you dont mind I recently agreed to the mirena coil and have noticed the hair growth has substantially got worse on my foot instep toes and I have scars on my chin where its got really course and naughty me has been plucking. Is this more likely my inconsitant diet or the new hormone in my system?
Kind Regards
Nicole
Hi Nicole,

I am so glad that you are reaching out and finding support that is needed.

Just so you know, you can ask as many questions as you like. That is what we are here for.

Regarding the Mirena or inconsistent diet... It can be both. Although it is not as common as some other side effects, it has been reported to increase growth of facial and body hair. As you know, dietary indiscretions can also do this.

It also depends on how much more you have noticed. If you noticed that since the Mirena was inserted, a more substantial increase and your diet did not change considerable, then it may be the Mirena.

The best way to find out, we can see how you are doing once you start on the PCOS System and how this changes.

Yes, I agree that many people are struggling with getting out the types of carbs that are not supporting their health. If you look around you will see it everywhere. We are constantly being bombarded with unhealthy food choices.

Keep in mind that it is not all or nothing. Starting slower can sometimes be better for some. Whether you start with breakfast or another meal or the snacks (whatever is the most difficult), can get you making changes but not too quickly that it makes it too hard to stick with.

I hope that you find that our support and System get you on your way.

I look forward to hearing from you and helping in any way that I can.
