Clomid + Metformin = sick me

Hello, I am in my third round of clomid, just tree days from my next period (no signs of pregnancy yet). I have been using the insulite system for about a month in conjunction with these drugs. My Dr. tells me that if it does not work this month that my chances drop sharply if I continue to use clomid again. I don't want to give up but the mix of clomid and metformin make me feel awful for about 3 1/2 weeks out of the month. Have you experienced this? If my period comes I am thinking about taking a completely different approach: using insulite, meditation, and acupuncture.
Anyone else been to this point? What are your suggestion?

Thanks so much for your question. Using the Insulite System in addition to meditation and acupuncture is a great combination. I highly recommend seeing a licensed acupuncturist or a licensed naturopathic doctor who also practices acupuncture. I also encourage you to read the book "The Infertility Cure" by Randine Lewis.

Metformin, alone or in combination with clomid, will not increase your chance of multiples. Clomid can increase your chances.
