The Irratability that PCOS seems to cause is the worst! But since being on Insulite for a month now I have noticed a change..I'm more calm...I usually have horrible anxiety. Been married for almost 2 years...BC has never worked for me...always made me sick gave me a period for months in a row and I would cry everyday..I finally said I was through and stopped taking it. I still struggle from time to time with a really bad mood swing but they have gotten better I have definately seen less HULK moments LOL. I still feel bad for my husband sometimes he asks why I'm freaking out and all I can say is I dunno cause thats how it feels. I hope with sticking with Insulite that it will go away eventually. I'm also hoping to concieve on it. I'm trying a more natural approach cause meds have never done me justice. I did this cycle only for 3 days add licorice root cause I read that it helps stimulate ovulation...your supposed to take it for 5 days but it gave me a headache..I think something in Inuslite didn't like the licorice root..well hopefully the 3 days will count for something. Its nice to know that there are other women struggling out there...I have no one around me that understands whats going on with me.

    Hi Jess,

Thanks for sharing all of this. I know that there are aspects of PCOS that don't get brought up a lot and the mood changes are one of them. We hear about them but don't realize how difficult they can really be. It sounds like you are doing better and I am sure it will continue. I will be looking forward to hearing how everything is going.
