    Default Skin issues

    HI-
I know that you all have said that it take a long amount of time to see changes in the skin department. I don't have any acne but what I do have is the darkened skin patches and skin tags. I have been on the system for 3.5 months now. I have seen great results in a bunch of other areas, I was just wondering when you think I would start to see results regarding this? They are some of my most hated symptoms...
    Thanks.
    Marissa

Also, do you know of any other treatment I can use to help them disappear, along with insulite, diet and exercise.

Hello Marissa. You are right, it does take time. The dark patches that you explained is called Acanthosis Nigricans and is a symptom of PCOS. It is related to insulin resistance (as are the skin tags) and having elevated levels of insulin. Unfortunately in our experience, the dark spots that you already have on your skin may not lighten up or go away after the hormones are balanced. However, new spots will not come up. I have had customers report that these did lighten up, you can try using a loofah as well.

Similarly, regarding the skin tags, often these have to be removed but you should not see more coming up.

Please let me know how you are doing and how we can help.
