    Smile Metformin and hypoglycemia

I just recently purchased the insulite 3 month supply after years of wanting to try it but not being able to afford it. I have seen so many doctors, endo's and even a reproductive endocrynologist over the past several years that I just gave up and went back to my primary care physician. She took me off the metformin because I was on 2000 MG per day and it was making me terribly sick and I also have hypoglycemia so it was causing a lot of problems for me. Since she has taken me off the metformin I have since started feeling worse because I am sure the insulin is having a blast taking my body back over. At 28 I had to have an emergency complete hysterectomy because of a blood filled polyp in my uterus (we had been trying to get pregnant for 5 years). I feel like my hormones are all over the place, I am so fatigued that I come home from work and go to sleep and I could sleep straight through the night and still wake up tired. I have to meet with my doctor about the pills and the program before I start taking them because I want her to watch my blood work from before I start and on through the 3 months that I am taking the insulite pills. I am currently only on flutamid and that stuff scares me as it is for men who have prostate cancer and comes with a black box warning. I will gladly take 12 pills per day if I can start to feel better and not take something that is going to bottom my blood sugar out so much that I almost pass out. Is there any information that I might not be aware of and/or any suggestions for blood work and inforation that I can provide my doctor?

Hello and thanks for writing in! I am glad that you have chosen to use the System.

It will be great to have some blood work done prior to starting and after a period of time using. This along with changes in your symptoms can really help with motivation and the support of your doctor.

What you are experiencing right now with feeling out of whack, is not uncommon and I will be excited for you to get stated. In the meantime, I would start reading through the Insulite Guide (link was sent with your order).

As far as the tests, I imagine your doctor will be ordering a fasting glucose, testosterone, DHEA-s, FSH, LH, and I would ask your doctor to order a fasting insulin level.

You can pass along our website and the following link: http://pcos.insulitelabs.com/PCOS-Research.php from our research link.

Please let me know how I can help.

    Best Wishes,
