Hello. I went to my obgyn last week because I'm 36 and have a couple of coarse hairs on my chin and pimples. They drew labs on day 5 of my cycle and the nurse called me yesterday and said all my lab work was normal(glucose, thyroid, chlosteroletc.) except for fsh and lh. fsh was 5.8 and lh was 7.0. She said because it was slightly elevated that i have pcos... I have a regular 26 day cycle, im not overweight. She said not to worry and to call if I started to miss my periods or gain weight... Should I get a second opinion? Pcos sounds like once you are diagnosed with this there are certain guidelines to live by. Im not sure what to do.. Thank You
