Hi Dr. Heather,
I have been on the pills for two weeks and of course I am anxious to see changes, primarily in weight loss. I have been following a low glycemic diet for the past 2 years. At this point, I have not seen any decrease in weight since starting the pills, but I wanted to review what I have been doing so you could tell me I need to change.
breakfast - protein smoothie recipe from the book (is it ok for me to have one every day, they are delicious?)
snack - cottage cheese (1/2 cup)
lunch - chicken breast, edamame
snack - almonds/walnuts (1/4 cup)
dinner - spinach salad w/ 14/c cheese, tbsp dressing, 4 oz protein
64 + oz water daily
1-2 cups coffee per day with 3 tsp. organic vanilla cream
workout 5 days a week doing p90x workouts
I have not stuck to the program 100%, but have been trying to stay as close to this as possible. Is there an average time that people usually see changes? Also, I have noticed to have evening cravings, any suggestions how to help with that. I have tried drinking water adn waiting it out, but usually seem to lose and go for a low glycemic snack, but didn't know if this was harming my attempts at weight loss.
Sorry for the long message. Thank you for your time.
