Hi,
I was so fortunate to conceive a child, after battling with PCOS for 10 years now! I followed strict doctors orders, and things went well the first 2 trimesters, but then I developed a very bad case of pre-eclampsia...had to be on hospital bedrest for weeks, and still had to have an emergency c-section 6 weeks early. My husband and I are now ready to try for baby number 2, and I wondered if pre-eclampsia could be linked to my pcos. I was lucky enough to bi-pass gest diab the first go-round, and I know some women just get pre-eclampsia with their 1st child, but I can't help but wonder if it's linked to my pcos, and what the chances of this happening again might be??? It was very scary, so we are trying to weigh our decisions here.
Thanks!!!
