Metaformin and Insulite Products

I was prescribed to take Metaformin for my PCOS. But now since Im on the Insulite system am I allowed to continue to take Metaformin with the system or doscontinue the pills?

It is alright for you to continue to take Metformin while using the Insulite PCOS System; it would also be OK to for you to stop taking it since the Insulin Resistance is being addressed with the system itself. If you do continue to use it, it's important for you to check your blood sugars ocassionally to make sure they're not going to low. If you do find your sugars going low, you'll need to talk to your doctor about adjusting your Metformin dose or stopping it altogether.
