Insulite System and Follistim (fertility med)

Hi,
I am going to be taking Follistim (gonadotropins) this next month to try to become pregnant. Would it be okay to take the Insulite System while I am taking these fertility medicines? Would it mess up my hormones if I take both? I also have 2 functional cysts from last months follistim round, would the insulite system make these worse or get bigger?

I am curious about the same thing. I have am TTC and have tried Clomid and timed intercourse 4 times, then Follistim with IUI 3 other times. My husband and I are on a break this cycle to get through the holidays and because of a well deserved vacation we are taking. I would like to start taking Insulite but will probably go back to the RE and try again with Follistim and IUI in January. Are these safe to do together??

Hello Arielle,

Thank you for posting. With regard to the use of our System with the Follistim, you can start the Insulite PCOS System at the start of your next cycle after the cycle the Follistim was used. That way there will not be any potential interactions.

I actually posted this to Arielle by mistake but it is meant for your post. But here it is again...
With regard to the use of our System with the Follistim, you can start the Insulite PCOS System at the start of your next cycle after the cycle the Follistim was used. That way there will not be any potential interactions.
