Hello!

I have ordered this system and am SO excited to get started! As a little background, I am currently working on getting an offical Dx of PCOS, although I match every symptom and have seen results using individual supplements. Because the endocrinologist specializing in PCOS can't see me for several months, I don't want to wait to see the changes I have gotten started, and I am taking control over this beast with everything I have!!!! I'm so glad to see this system because it gives me a more clear balance and has additional things I was planning on adding without my having to figure out dosages and things.

As for history, I have had symptoms of PCOS for over 10 years and didn't know it until about 4 months ago, although I do have two beautiful, smart, funny children that were conceived naturally. I have been so blessed in not only that, but in the fact that some of the symptom severity (facial hair, scalp hair loss, etc) have only gotten much worse in the last 4-5 years. We also had to terminate a pregnancy last year due to anencephaly (the baby didn't have a properly formed brain or scalp plates), and we have decided that we are more than happy with our family and do not want to chance any further complications/issues with subsequent pregnancies.

I have a dermoid cyst on one ovary that I am planning on having removed, and upon talking to my OBGYN, I have also decided to go ahead and have him perform a tubal ligation while he's in there (we had already planned on my husband having a vasectomy because of the less complicated nature of the surgery, but if my doctor already has to do this, we decided it would be me instead). My goal is to have the surgery next month, so I should have several weeks of the more defined supplements to go along with my diet and exercise regimine. I know I need to discuss this with my doctor, but what are your recommendations for use of the supplement around the surgery? Obviously, I'll be NPO for a short period of time prior to the procedure, but is it OK to go ahead and resume once I'm eating again? I'll be working extra hard before the surgery to get as much weight off (healthily) as possible to reduce any complications, and I was told that I would be back to normal exercise in less than a week after barring any additional issues.

I feel like I'm not in the range of typical needs on here since I'm already to the point of not having any more children (and I'm only 31). I have researched this system within an inch of it's life through multiple sources, particularly ones that tend to have more negative things to say about everything - I have yet to find anything besides pill size, body getting used to changes, and cost. I already take a lot of these supplements, I already am working on a gluten free healthy diet, I exercise on my own and with a trainer, and the cost of the system is less than I'm paying for all of this separately. I have lots of hope that this will bring me closer to what my body needs to pull itself together, and I'm ready to jump in and take full advantage of what it has to offer.

Sorry for the long message, but I'm still in the process of figuring out all of this and making so many changes in my life. I appreciate your support and any insight you can offer me!

Hellow hopefulcyster,

I so excited you are starting the system. We do have many women using the system who also have a complete family. Some women are still experiencing symptoms in their menopausal years and do well on the system.

As far as surgery goes and the supplements go, please do speak to your doctor. I would recommend stopping them a week prior to surgery to just be safe. Some nutrients are linked to thinning the blood. You could then resume them again when your doctor okays it or wait a week to be safe.

Good luck with the system and the surgery!
