I am 33 years old, and have been recently diagnosed with mild type 2 diabetes and was diagnosed with PCOS about 10 years ago. Your system for PCOS sufferers really is up my alley because I always prefer to use a natural alternative to prescription drugs. It took me a couple of months after my initial diabetes diagnoses to cave in and submit to Metformin again. (I previously took the drug on and off over the last 10 years for the PCOS alone. Diabetes came later. :( )
Anyway, I really want to order this system, but am concerned because I am on oral medication for my diabetes.
My ultimate goal is to treat my PCOS and diabetes naurally, and lose enough weight so that my diabetes will hopefully improve and I can discontinue any and all medication. (I am currently about 50lbs overweight.)
What do you think? Can I take your PCOS system being a type 2 daibetic on Metformin?
Thank You! Any and all help is much appreciated!
Patricia

Dear Patricia,
Thanks for writing into this forum!
It is perfectly fine for you to take the Metformin along with an insulite system.
Since you are diabetic, and also have PCOS, you have a few choices. You can go ahead and take the PCOS system alone, or you could go ahead and use the Pre-diabetic system (it works well for diagnosed diabetes too) and ask for the PCOS+ to be shipped along with it. This would have you taking 5 supplements instead of 4. The exercise and dietary advice would be the same.
Also, as you make progress with controlling the diabetes and PCOS, you might find that you need to decrease your Metformin dose to keep your blood sugars from going too low. You would need to work with your primary doctor to manage this- I'm sure they'd be a thrilled as you with the good results!
I hope this is helpful, and feel free to write in again (and I promise I'll answer earlier! The message got slotted into the wrong folder and I just found it! ) :D
