Hello,

I have purchased the Insulite program and have begun reading the information provided in the guide. It appears to be a comprehensive program but I have a few questions:

I am 5'7" and 246lbs. While I have not always been this size, I have always had excess weight in my mid section causing me to look pregnant. Are there any specific exercises that I can do along with the system to minimize my 48" waist?

I have taken a fasting blood work and my blood/sugar levels were 80, LDL normal, HDL 38. However, my Androgen was 1330, almost twice the normal count of 700! Elevated Androgen levels are my primary indicator of PCOS; testosterone, and the other male hormones seem to be reacting to the androgen.

Will the Insulite System, from targeting Insulin Resistance, help to lower my androgen levels? If so, how long is a reasonable amount of time before I return to the doctor's office for a re-evaluation of fasting blood work to evaluate the effectiveness of the system?

I have struggled with my weight for the past 10 years. I have used metformin and lost a total of 20lbs but the side effects of the drug were more than I could handle; I was constantly sick with diarrhea, had terrible acne, was depressed, frequently nauseaus and so on.

I am excited about taking an herbal/mineral supplement because my body is very sensitive.

Please advise! Where to begin!!!! Thanks so much!

Hello and thanks for writing in. I am happy to hear that you are starting the Insulite System.

The PCOS System has a supplement, PCOS+ that is designed to help lower androgen levels and the nutrition and exercise, while decreasing insulin can also help to reduce these levels. To target androgens, the PCOS+ would be the supplement that I would include. The Insulite System does not address androgens directly. However, this can be added to the Insulite System.

As far as exercise for the midsection, I would first recommend walking or another form of cardio to do regularly. This will help reduce insulin and glucose and build muscle which will support weight loss all over your body. Then in addition to help strengthen core muscles you can incorporate yoga, pilates, or using an exercise ball. These often focus on core strength.

Because the androgens are so elevated, I would recommend using the System for at least 6 months before testing. Then you can see what has changed with all the changes and support you have included for your body. Most likely you will need the System longer than the 6 months, but this can be considered when the time comes.

I am glad that you are excited and I am looking forward to working with you.
