I was diagnosed about two years ago with PCOS. I have always struggled with my weight and had irregular periods. My husband and I went to the doctor because we want to conceive, that is when they diagnosed me with PCOS and referred me to an infertility specialist. We have done the clomid, injections, and an IUI several months. We were not successful. I stopped all fertility drugs about three months ago and have yet to have a period. I am overweight, but exercise regularly and am on a strict diet, but the weight just does not seem to come off.
I ordered the PCOS insulite program, and got it in the mail today. Will this system help me lose weight and get my periods back? I know these are the two most important aspects of my fertility. I just want a baby, but I want to be healthy and have a healthy pregnancy and baby.
If you have any advice or tips that would be greatly appreciated.
GOD BLESS AND HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!

Hi,
Thanks for writing in. I am glad that you have chosen to use the PCOS System.
Yes, the PCOS System is designed to help with both of these issues (weight and irregular cycles) as they are both related to insulin resistance.
The fact that you are already exercising and following a diet will be helpful as you integrate the PCOS System. The one piece of advice I would give you is to take some time and read through the Insulite Guide. The nutrition recommendations may be similar to what you are already following and if so, great! If not, I recommend that you follow the Insulite plan, reducing total carbs between 60-80 grams, focusing on a whole food diet high in vegetables and healthy sources of fat and protein.
Right now, getting started with the protocol is the first step. Keep in mind that it takes time to see changes. The program is very individual and how long it will take to see results will depend on the person, severity of PCOS and symptoms.
I am excited to hear how you are doing and confident that the System can help you. If there is anything I can to do help, please let me know.
