Hello Charu,

I am well, I hope you are too.

I can tell you very generally that we advocate a "whole foods" diet that is low in carbohydrates. We encourage our clients to reduce the number of carbs gradually. We encourage people to avoid refined carbohydrates like bread, sugar, pasta, tortillas, pastries, cookies, etc. A whole foods diet is one that stresses fresh, unprocessed, and unrefined foods. All of our customers receive the Insulite Guide that outlines and guides you through proper dietary choices, menu and recipe suggestions.

We have complete instructions on how to make nutrition and exercise changes in the Guide that goes with our PCOS System.

As you know these changes are really important in managing PCOS.

I hope that this helps some. I would recommend the System for you as well and hope that you consider the System.

Hi Dr. Healther, I read your response to Charu, about the diet plan. The guide you are talking about, does it come with your first order of pills? The reason I ask is because I don't believe I have gotten a guide. For the last 5 weeks I have cut out all bad carbs, and eat only a few good carbs. Not only that I have cut out sugar. I only eat fruits, veggies, chicken(without hormones), and on a rare ocassion red meat. I have also been going to the gym 6 times a week for atleast two hours, and then walking my dog 3 miles a day. My trainer recommended 1250-1500 calories a day, yet I haven't lost 1 single pound. Is there anything else I can do? I am beyond frustrated and would appreciate any help.

Thank you,
Bridgit

Hello Bridgit,

Yes, you should have received a link to the PDF version of our Customer Guide with your first order.

Since you did not, can you please email me at DrHDeLuca@insulitelabs.com so that we can get you all the support that you may need while on the System.

It sounds like you are doing well with the changes and making appropriate ones to support treating PCOS. It can take time and patience.

I would recommend counting the carbs that you are eating and see what the numbers are. You can use www.fitday.com to put your food intake in and it will break it down. You should be around 60-80 grams a day.

Have you had any other changes since you started the System?

I look forward to hearing from you.
