“What Lesbian & Bi-sexual Women Need to Know about PCOS”
Dr. Andrea Lee wants lesbian and bi-sexual women to understand that they are more than twice as likely to develop PCOS than heterosexual women, according to medical research.
She will be intereviewed by Sasha Ottey on PCOS Challenge Radio on Wed., Oct. 28 at 6:00 p.m. The show is titled “What Lesbian & Bi-sexual Women Need to Know about PCOS.
Dr. Lee will also discuss fertility issues and will provide guidelines on what lesbian and bi-sexual women should look for in a doctor to treat their PCOS and for their general health.

I was looking through many different websites for answers to my partners question..She found out when she was 18 the she pcos and had surgery when she was 19 on her right overie and they removed several cyst..Well that had helped and stopped the pain but know she is in pain again and she is 21 know..She went to our local ER and they did and ultra sound on her and found out that her left side had cyst in it..She told them that she was bleeding heavely but they really didn’t seem to worry about it.Well that was about 2 weeks ago and she is still in severe pain and is still bleeding, know there’s clots in her blood and she is in severe pain and nothing seems to help with it…The reason i am asking is cause she is uninsured since getting let go from her job in January..So I was wanting to know if there was anything that could be done to help her with the pain..Sincerly Jennifer
